On Saturday, January 25th, Mamaroneck’s New York Strong gym welcomed 14 competitors to the 2025 United States Strongman (USS) Record Breakers competition.

The USS Strongman Record Breakers is an event where athletes, both men and women, attempt to break personal, state, and national records in several test of strength disciplines which include the deadlift, log press, atlas stone, and axle press among others looking to move maximum weights, maximum repetitions, and length of time that a weight can be held. The event also serves as a qualifier for the USS Nationals competition.
